St Gerard’s is known as a friendly and inclusive community.
The school was built in 1964 mainly by volunteer labour, largely from the parish and local Catholic families. Many past students, who are proud of their heritage, send their children to St Gerard’s. Past students often come back to visit and our students who go on to secondary schools are known to achieve well in leadership, learning and sport.
Our senior students have a choice of many excellent local secondary schools in the local area. These include: St Leo’s Wahroonga, Marist College Eastwood, St Patrick’s College Dundas, Oakhill College Castle Hill, Mount St Benedict’s College Pennant Hills, Marist Sisters Woolwich, Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta, Mercy College Chatswood and Loreto Normanhurst.
