STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics

Students in Stage 2 and Stage 3 have the opportunity to engage in STEAM lessons each week which will incorporate elements from Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

Students utilise the 4C’s of Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking during lessons. Our students will learn to create hologram illusions, hydraulic lifts, design and make balloon powered cars and utilise different energy sources for their creations to name a few.

Through the use of Edison Robots, Drones, BluBots and OzoBots students will be connecting Mathematics with Technology and will be continuing to expand their skill set, knowledge and application of digital technologies.

Lessons are a great way for students to combine their love of learning with practical problem solving. Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 also engage with the technology used in STEAM to enhance their knowledge of digital technologies and enjoy being creative.
