School Facilities

St Gerard’s school is set on spacious grounds and over the past few years significant building and refurbishment work has been done to improve the learning spaces for the students.

Classrooms

St Gerard’s is fortunate to have new and refurbished classrooms. All classrooms are air conditioned and support a range of technology. All rooms have interactive white boards and students have access to  laptops, Chromebooks and iPad technology.

Library

The Library is a large, modern space containing a bank of computers for specialised work situations. The librarian works with classes and the Library is a popular learning space during the lunchtime periods when children can browse, borrow or read with friends.

Playground and Green Spaces

Spacious grounds are enjoyed by the children and a separate play area exists for the Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students. There are two cricket nets for children to use on a roster system, play equipment, car patch and digging areas, handball courts and spaces for imaginative play. Primary children have the choice of playing in a large shaded area, asphalt area with handball courts or grass. The large oval at the back of the school is available to the children in Years 3 to 6 at lunchtime.
